The Honpa Hongwanji Mission of Hawaii is organized into five districts, and each sends a number of delegates to Giseikai based on the size of the membership within the district. The number of lay delagates is as follows:

Honolulu District – 18 lay delegates
Oahu District – 14 lay delegates
Kauai District – 5 lay delegates
Maui District – 11 lay delegates
Hawaii District – 18 lay delegates

Registration is handled through your local temple or association.

Friday’s session begins with a morning service and goes till about 8:00 p.m. Saturday’s continuation will be for the morning only and conclude about 10:30 a.m. Then, meeting attendees and others join together for an Aloha Luncheon and Living Treasures of Hawai’i™ event at a Waikiki hotel.
