One of the premier high school Taiko programs in the nation celebrates its 10th anniversary festival on Sunday, April 10, at 4 p.m. at the Pearl City Cultural Center. The theme for Pacific Buddhist Academy’s annual Taiko Festival is Shin/The Heart and Mind of Taiko, calling forth the belief, spirit and heart of a tradition that began with PBA’s founding and continues as it commences breaking ground for a new classroom building this year.
