New exhibition on the Japanese American WWII experience opens soon; Bishop to give invocation on Nov. 10

The Go for Broke National Education Center has announced that a traveling exhibition entitled “Courage and Compassion: Our Shared Story of the Japanese American WWII Experience” will visit the Japanese Cultural Center of Hawai‘i (JCCH) from November 11 to December 9, 2017.

The Bishop of the Honpa Hongwanji Mission of Hawaii, Rev. Eric Matsumoto, will give the invocation at a special opening reception and exhibition preview on November 10 at the JCCH Manoa Grand Ballroom.
