Headquarters office and bookstore reopen; new hours posted

HQ Bookstore new hours February 14, 2022

The Honpa Hongwanji Mission of Hawaii state headquarters office and bookstore reopened on February 14, 2022. Hours are as follows.

HQ Office Hours

  • Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • Sunday CLOSED

Bookstore Hours

  • Tuesday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • Sunday-Monday CLOSED

The HQ Bookstore carries books on Buddhism, onenju, incense, gift items, and more.

HQ doors Feb. 2022 with new hours sign
The HQ office and bookstore are on the mountain side of the Honpa Hongwanji Hawaii Betsuin main temple building. While the address is officially 1727 Pali Highway, Honolulu, HI 96813, please note that access to parking is from the back side on Lusitana St.
