Joining the Combined Choir
(registration required)

A combined choir is formed from singers at various Hongwanji temples in Hawaii a few from Buddhist Churches of America and Japan. The combined choir practices some at home using materials provided online, and then come together on Saturday, September 20 for rehearsals and a dinner program.
Registration to join the combined choir and Saturday rehearsals/dinner is accomplished through your temple.

Sunday Music Service
(free and open to all)

On Sunday, September 20, Hawaii Betsuin’s Sunday Service (open to all) is transformed by the combined choir into a music service. Fellowship and refreshments follow in the Social Hall. The music service begins at 10:30 a.m., allowing for one final rehearsal by the combined choir at 9 a.m.
