The Hawaii State Lay Association (HSLA) is an association of Hongwanji Hawaii temple representatives from around the state that organizes a annual convention and creates other learning and fellowship opportunities within the Hongwanji network.

About the HSLA

The HSLA is the successor organization to the Hawaii State Federation of Honpa Hongwanji Lay Associations in which the constituent lay associations were organized by district. The lay conventions would rotate from district to district and be organized by the respective lay associations.

With the new HSLA structure, the HSLA board will organize the conventions and other initiatives and events.
