Delegates gather for the 2020 Legislative Assembly (108th Giseikai) – photos

Once a year, ministers and lay delegates from Hongwanji temples throughout Hawaii assemble in Honolulu at Hawaii Betsuin on Pali Highway. Over the course of two days (or three including associated meetings by subgroups), representatives discuss, amend, and pass resolutions; give and receive special briefings and presentations; and attend services together.

This year’s gathering was held February 7-8 and was the 108th such assembly, also known as “Giseikai.” Here are a few initial photos of the events.
